Next stage is to create a handle. I crochet dc from one end to the other leaving a little bit of the cord that I sewed onto each side of the purse on the inside.
Last step is to line the purse with cloth.
To make the lining, place the purse on a piece of paper and trace the shape of the purse without the border but with a bit extra for sewing. For the front piece make sure to get the dip.
With the shapes, place on cloth and cut one of each side.
Sew the two sides together with the right sides facing each other on the inside.
Place the lining inside the purse with the two wrong sides facing each other. Hand stitch a simple stay stitch all the way around folding the edge of the cloth towards the inside of the crochet side.
All done to give to that special little girl!
