Crochet Leg Warmers and Fingerless Gloves

When it is cold outside and the boots do not cover up the legs, this calls for crochet leg warmers.

I used a yarn from the Lanabel line and a 4 mm hook.

Chain 42, slip stitch into 1st chain without twisting the chain.

Chain 3, dc into next 41 chains, slip stitch into top of chain 3, (42 stitches).

Repeat this row until you obtain desired length.

I added a row of shell stitch of 5 dc to the top of the leg warmers.

Do not forget to make two!

Now onto the fingerless gloves:

Chain 24, slip stitch into 1st chain without twisting the chain.

Row 1 – 6: Chain 3, dc in next 23 stitches. Slip stitch into the top of the chain 3.

Row 7: This is where I made the thumb opening. Chain 3, dc into the same stitch. Dc another 22 stitches. In the last stitch, add 2 dc. Slip stitch into the top of chain 3.

Row 8: Created another row of increase. Chain 3, dc into the same stitch. Dc another 24 stitches. In the last stitch, add 2 dc. Slip stitch into the top of chain 3.

Row 9: Chain 3, Dc into the next 25 stitches. Slip stitch into the top of chain 3.

Row 10: Chain 3, dc into the next 25 stitches. Chain 3, Slip stitch into the top of chain 3. (Now to close the thumb and work on the upper part).

Row 11: Chain 3, dc into next 25 stitches. When you come to chain 3, add 3 dc`s, Slip stitch into the top of chain 3.

Row 12: Chain 3, dc until last 4 stitches. In the last 4 stitches, make 2 different decreases. Slip stitch into the top of chain 3.
