Yogurt Sponge Cake

Prep time: 5 mins                   Cook time: 25 – 30 mins                         Total time: 35 mins

Serves: 10

This dessert I learned from a Chilean acquaintance.

Ingredients

3 eggs at room temperature

1 ½ cup sugar

1 cup oil

1 cup yogurt (any flovour)

2 tsp baking powder

3 cups flour

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Grease a 9 x 12 inch baking pan
  • In a bowl, mix all ingredients
  • Place cake mixture into pan
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes
  • You may serve with powder sugar on top
